The Friulmodel metal tracks arrived yesterday, they are the winter set for a Panzer III/IV but will be fitted to a E10 and the tracks look great, a tad pricey but worth it I think as they add that weighted look as well as the detail.

Just ordered the 1/35 Plus Model Gramophone and Radio set, you get two Gramophones and three radios as well as a box of Gramophane records and they look very cool.  ;D

2 great kits.  I want the Char bis in the "German" boxing as it comes with French markings for 1944 :D

Happy birthday to you and Chris.

Their stuff is so tempting: I want the pack of rats the outside loo and the fridges full of beer, but I don't do 1/35th so there's no excuse for it.... >:( ;)

Did South Cheshire Militare today at Crewe with Falcon, Geoff_P & Overkiller on the Cold War Stand.

Nice show although covers a much broader spectrum than the mainstream shows, theres still plenty to be had, so :-

1/72 Airfix Buccaneers S2B/C/D/50
1/700 Trumpeter HMS Renown  ;D

Plus found somebody with original Cromwell models stuff so in 1/76:-
Chieftan Togs
Conqureor MK1
Tracked Rapier
1/2 ton landie althou thats been a bit crushed
all for either £3 or £5 each.

Took great plaeasure in being able to carry my purchases in my Ruck, when compared to what the other two had picked up !!!.

I see the inner caveman still exists up North - look like a couple of hunters returing with the kill (Cue a Far Side Cartoon somewhere). You'll be mounting the box tops on your walls next  ;D ;D ;D

All the way back to 4 o'clock.... now that's impressive....

Very, very good Dunc  ;D

As for my lineage then I'm half Geordie on my mothers side, but my mum's dad was from Derbyshire origionaly. My dad was Croydon born (as I am) and so was his father but my paternal grandmothers family came from the south west. So far all English but I've not done any research. Will do sooner or latter. "Thinks of Dunc's candle comment and realises it should be sooner"  ;D

Steve- if your family have always lived that far North then there is no way there cant be any Jock in there somewhere
