Lurking on one of the box shifters stands I found an Italeri MH-47E, which can be converted into an RAF HC3 without too much difficulty.

And with a little more difficulty into almost anythng else with two rotors.......  -_-

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

From Squadron:
1/350 scale Soya icebreaker with PE set - it was on deep discount.
1/35 Hobby Boss German Leopard 2 A5/A6 - $18; they put them on sale every few months. Not a great kit at $30something, but great at $18. There may be a few left.
1/35 Revell of Germany M47 Patton. This is a reboxing of the Italeri kit, from what I've read. Looks like a pretty nice kit.

2 x 1/48 Kinetic F-16D Block 52+ RSAF
1 x 1/48 Kinetic F-16C Block 40 Israeli Air Force "Barak"

I also picked up 2 x Academy 1/48 MiG-29's from Steel Penguin (Cheers mate )

Partly offset by my being so d*mn weak-willed, that it took a whole fifteen seconds to decide to buy that Revell Rafale from you. It wasn't at all difficult to decide on a scheme for it either..... Just come away from Hannants all new and shiney web-site having spent £18.00 on a Model Alliance decal sheet to decorate it with !!

1/72 Italeri V-22 Osprey (via Falcon).  This will of course be JSDF based upon Mav's profiles...<...>

Yeah, but don't forget you'll also be needing an Academy AH-64 Apache for the forward fuselage, right?
Cheers,

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

BTW, can you guess what my next 1-man-GB will be based on the 1/72 kits?

I bought the Freightdog Models 1/32 Seafire FR. 47 conversion and just received a 1/32 Revell Germany Spitfire F. 22/24 kit.  The current project is a what if: Supermarine proposes the PR. 25 and FR. 26 versions of the Spitfre incorporating the FR. 47 engine, prop and landing gear. Not seeing a substantial performance improvement, the RAF rejects the versions.  Supermarine retains the aircraft for engine development and subequently enters it as an air racer in livery reminiscent of the Supermarine S.6B.  The Freightdog conversion is lovely.

That sounds like a great idea.  Looking forward to it

I've seen the Freightdog conversion, and yes it does look very nice

You do realise you are going to cause an artificial run on ship models don't you ? All the manufactureres will switch to ships and there will be hell to pay when they find out it's all going to the Staffs/Derby border
