No no no, you need to build a tank from spare Star Wars parts :D

Yeah, that's it!

Hey wait a minute....does the X-32 only have one weapons bay ?

:banghead:

No, but the Italeri X-32 does.  It gives you the option of building the aircraft with one bay open, and the option of either an AMRAAM and a JDAM or an AMRAAM and a Sidewinder for stores.

From my friend's re-sale store in Havana, my first acquisition of 2010:

A 1/87 scale Heiser's Models M4A4 Sherman

The hull and tracks are resin, but the turret and all of the detail parts are styrene.  The assembly instructions are rather vague.  They show you how the main components go together, then suggest that you consult other sources for tips on where to install lights, machine guns and other parts, explaining that there are many variants of the M4, and the builder should feel free to model any of them.

I got that, even if nobody else did !!

Well the resumption of air transport is presumably responsible for the bumper crop that showed up this morning.

From ebay: Verlinden 1/35th Israeli Sherman M50 turret conversion. Bought to trade 'cos it looked like a bargain.

From Hannants (all 1/72nd):

Heller Bf.108 Taifun: to be a Patchwork World GA aircraft

Scalemodelworld Spanish/Italian decal sheet. Only about 1/3rd of it is relevent to the SCW, but it was only a couple of quid.

Unimodel BT-2 tank with 2 x MGs
Unimodel D-38 artillery tank (76mm howitzer)

Both the above are Russian Christie tank derivatives, and I've always wanted some Christies to play with. They might end up as SCW, but I'm not well up on SCW armour so I don't know if they'd be a whiff or not! The same manufacturer also does a "proper" Christie and a whole slew of other derivatives, but the above pair are in the Hannants sale at the moment at £3.89 each.

Couple of decal sheets from the Big H. Among those is another Xtradecal 1/144 Hunter sheet. For two reasons: You can't possibly have too many Hunters and because the sheet is so damn nice. Lots of colourful options for Cold War air arms around the world. So many whiffing possibilities! Also included are a couple of Skymodels sheets. I heard they're not the best-researched and the instructions do leave a lot to be desired, but on the flipside you get lots, no, LOTS of marvellously printed (Cartograf!) options at an unbeatable price. Got the P-40, the Italian F-104 and an Fw 190 sheet. The F-104 sheet will be used on an Italian F-104, but with a couple of whiffing twists.
Cheers,
Moritz

I've lots of those Sky sheets. As you say fantastic value if only for the personal markings (the P-40 sheet is superb in that respect ). Also love the Italian sheets for the squadron markings. Only downside is that they are so crammed they can be an absolute bugger to cut out
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
