I have quite a few Condor kits in the stash, and I have built 3 so far, 2 mig-21's and a Mig-31, for the price they are good, I have built more expensive kits that needed more work on them. So they are worth buying for sure.

Just to be clear, both these kits are useable (if crude) and I wouldn't rule out buying a Condor kit again, in the same way that I wouldn't rule out an A-Model one if the subject and price were right. Also, the Condor kit is dated 1996, so for all I know, they may have improved since then.

Just got an Airfix Nimrod from my LMS (they have a sale on). What was I thinking?!! It's a bit daunting in the box to say the least!

I'm going to have to give it the bed and sleep on the floor!  ;D

Thinking RN's contribution to a NATO MARPAT DET.

From Amazon (they got some nice deals on kits at times!):

Hasegawa 1/72 Grumman X-29 - maybe Iranian with a second fin (à la Saeqeh)?
Italeri 1/72 Harrier GR.3 - no plan yet.

And from the evil Bay:

Tamiya 1/700 JMSDF Shimokita - that landing ship with all the neat little tanks'n'trucks. Will be Earmarked to be part of a larger dio.

Yeah, Amazon sometimes come up trumps....

Meanwhile today, a birthday package arrived:

1/700 HobbyBoss USS Arizona...always useful as a RN ship or hybrid-carrier.
3 x Mirage Hobby 1/400 "Hiddensee" German/US Corvette
2 x Mirage Hobby 1/400 Tarantul II Corvette
3 x Mirage Hobby 1/400 Tarantul I Corvette
1 x Revell 1/542 USS Saratoga CVA-60....think German Navy
1 x Revell 1/570 HMS Prince of Wales....plans, plans.....

The Corvettes will most likely be civilianised to join the Rocky Horror "fan" collection.... :wacko:
