Bought from Ebay and arrived today, Hasegawa 1/72 Lancaster "Rescue Unit" which I plan to do in its Canadian colours.

IIRC, you get the alternate Lincoln fins in that release, which should feed across into your Lancaster B.XXX.  In addition, there are two or three other bits you may want to use, such as the Village Inn AGL parts - can't remember the numbers but they're greyed out on the sprue plans.  IIRC, H10 and the tiny clear dome are the two bits you need.

She'll find out though, I had to pay on card & she checks over the finances regularly.  Thinks are going to be getting tight financially later in the year, so I'm making a few big purchases & then it'll have to stop.  Really!  I just won't have the cash.

I was more interested in the rear turret that is spare when doing the Canadian version, that and possibly the AGLT will be used on the "normal" Hasegawa BI/III I have

I'd though about you mate!  The shop had it discounted, otherwise I'd definately have tapped you up.  There is one Trumpeter kit I'm definately after though that you could help me out with, PM on it's way.

I'm tempted, but I think I can resist the arm twisting on that one!  I've got a Ka-226 in the stash, I've picke it up a few times & put it down because of the amount of flash & slightly dodgy moulding.  If I'm doing that with a helicopter the size of the Hoodlum, I don't think I'd ever get around to the Harke!!!

I've got to admit though, I do like the look of the Mi-26 Flying Crane version & if I can find better drawings than the small concept art that's on Aviastar, I might have a crack at it.....

I've got to admit though, I do like the look of the Mi-26 Flying Crane version & if I can find better drawings than the small concept art that's on Aviastar, I might have a crack at it.....

The main undercarriage looks fun but the rest looks fairly simple.

I'm not sure without looking at better pics Steve.  Tail seems longer, it's definately fatter at the base.  Not sure if there's something going on with the cockpit, there may be a step there & it's not obvoious how the crane operators cabin is arranged.  Undercarriage should be 'fun'!

Great...... I should have a nice fresh Vulcan ready for the slaughter by then to go with the set of Skybolts I have from Freight Dog and the nice set of AirDecal Vulcan decals to boot. ...... Now where is the nearest Church roof as the Vulcan will need some nose weight !!!
