Esci Kamov Ka34 Hokum "whif-in-a-box" arrived from ebay this morning.  :wub: That makes two in the the stash so I can build one now. Not sure what I'll do with it but may ditch the rotors and give it some tilting lift fans instead.

Recent ebay wins include an Airfix Meteor F.III, a Frog Meteor F.IV and a somewhat rare Provence 43rd resin kit of the Aston Martin DB7.  Yes, I've a pair of die casts in the scale but I want to build my own.  And finish it in Vertigo Blue metallic.

Not exactly a model, but I got an Iwata HP-C Plus; with a 10% discount from an already discounted price it was still expensive but I'm sure it'll be better than my old Testors.

T-1 looks favourite to be part of my Honduras Air force training wing........so far, it is the the training wing :lol:

Popped into Harrogate Model Zone this morning to gather kits for the Royal Yorkshire Navy.

  • Airfix 1/600 Iron Duke – to be sister ship to HMYS Queen Elizabeth, called HMYS Duke of York.


  • Airfix 1/600 Falklands War kit - County class Guided Missile Destroyer HMS Devonshire will become the Town Class Guided Missile Destroyer HMYS Scarborough. The Leander class Frigate will become the Pioneer class Frigate HMYS Smeaton.


  • Airfix 1/600 Hood

  • Airfix 1/600 Bismark


The last two are going to be RW.... or are they.  :wacko:

One Italeri Spit Vb from Hobbycraft. Mainly got for the canopy as I wanted it for a different project. Found it didn't fit so it now resides in the stash awaiting inspiration.
