Wow! That thing is still around? Last time I saw that was in a Revell catalogue from the 1990s!

Yeah it looks like a 1990's box, I've decided to build more helicopters again and also to get myself a stencil cutter later this year.

A couple more eBay acquisitions today:

1/72 Monogram B-1B (gonna become one huge US Navy interceptor for GIUK gap defense, armed with AIM-54's)
1/48 Monogram Apollo 11 diorama
1/100 Heller Lunar Module

My future one man space GB is gaining ground...

And with today's acquisitions, I'm sitting at around 950 kits in the stash (945 cataloged, but I know I've got more in there somewhere that I forgot about, like at least four 1/288 An-24 kits...)
I exist to pi$$ others off!!!

QuoteMy tip, teach y'self to fly with the P-40's, they're very forgiving and feel 'right'

Although I haven't flown in ages, I'll second this. The P-40 is fun to fly.

Is that all?  Some of us here have stashes in four figures and mine's in two separate locations....  Starting to get grief off Wor Lass because of it.  She's mainly concerned that it'll take over the flat, not to mention the fire hazzard of all that plastic.  My reply?  Shoes.

It's not the hobby that's concerning her - Sue's a creative person too (she's a seamstress) - it's just the volume.  Mind, I haven't bought that much this year, 40 kits max.

Aye but you really need to be building them too, although i suppose that creates another issue with storing the part and completed builds along with the unbuilt stash ? :banghead:

Do you read the Discworld books ?  ;D

I know what you mean about the volume, thats why I'm trying to seriously thin the stash. I got into the trap of buying for the sake of it I think. Now I ask myself "would you take that home and start it now" before I open the wallet.

The Wooksta!

It's BIG when finished and it's a bugger to build.  I would have advised against it.  Horrible kit.

Chris, is that the 88 G or the A?  If it's the former, I've a mould for a corrected fin.  The kit one is way too small.
