I've something similar to the armoured car but it has cannons so it's more of a tank!  Ideally, I'd paint it red with a flag for the Spanish inquisition but I don't think anyone does Spanish Inquisition figures in 72nd.  Well, certainly not Cardinals Ximinez, Biggles and Fang.

From the Aviation Workshop, just ordered two of the new 1:48 'Sniper' pods for future What If projects which may or may not be Revell Typhoons !! nor FAA Rafales and certainly not FAA 'Super Hornets', no definitely not !!

From ebay, a box of misc 1/35th tank bits for a measly few quid. Excellent greeblies for sci-fi stuff... Only semi-definite plan at the moment is to use a couple of Panther wheels for the oversized hatches on my Tank Girl tank.

Re the Leonardo tank, what occured to me was "what if tanks had developed from that as a starting point?" I had visions of a modern version being a cone of Chobham with tracks on the bottom and alternate short-barrelled 120mm guns and miniguns around the edge....

Maybe some of the kits (like the drawbridge) are in 1/100, but the "Aerial Screw" has four figures that are around 1/32 - 1/35 (maybe a tad smaller). The Armored Car is pretty big; it may even be in the same scale. There are two ladders inside and the rungs look like they would work for 1/32 or 1/35 and maybe at a stretch for 1/48. Way too big for 1/72.

BTW, I put the Armored Car together in about 5 minutes, while reading the board last night. The Aerial Screw took a little longer, but only because ir has strings that have o be tied.

I have some 1/72nd scale sand bags that, at a push you could use as the comfy cushions.

From the BIG H via the man in the red van in 2 DAYS  ;D

Airfix Me 110 B/C. Lovely kit. Sure some will say the panel lines are to deep but it looks so good in the box you almost want to cuddle it. Definitely one that you want to start straight away...like being a kid again  ;D Got some neat engineering solutions as well. The nose guns are moulded on a "backing plate" which slides into the nose cone from the back. No fiddly individual barrels to fit, ideal for the kids and for me  This one will be real, will get another to wif.

AZ Kawasaki Ki-78. This is the special boxing and has 2 complete kits. Didn't realise that when I ordered so work out at £6.50 each.  ;D 3 nice wif markings options included. Will be part of the opposition for the Downfall mini-theme.

As for the "Cardinal" figures there are loads of wargames companies who have priests and monks in their medieval range.

a Revell 1/72 EC-145 was added to the stash today

No kits, but a couple of bits'n'bobs arrived today:

Wolfpack 1/48 Rafale CFTs - will boost the range of a quite possibly Israeli Rafale.
Aires 1/72 F-22A nozzles - bought these to re-engine some other fighters. Earmarked are an F-15J and an F-2. Maybe some other fighter. They're not really expensive, but not actually cheap either. So this will be a trial run. Will also try to hack the nozzles off a Revell F-22. Not cheaper, but would leave me with the rest of an F-22, lotsa weapons and a nice decal sheet.

Also got the three Afterburner 1/48 Mitsubishi F-2 decal sheets. Simply gorgeous!  Two sheets full of line and anniversary birds. One sheet as a "detail set" with two complete sets for cockpit instrument panels (should look great!), seat markings, belts, tire markings, LOX bottle and undercarriage placards, burner can petals for the outside and the ribbed interior! Good stuff!
Cheers,
Moritz
