Just updated the MS Word spreadsheet and found out that with the acquisition of the Revell 1/48 F/A-18E Super Hornet my stash has now officially reached...
  the 900 kits mark!

EDIT: Actually, that 900 is already outdated, with an Aoshima 1/700 JMSDF Hyuga on the way from Japan!
Cheers,
Moritz

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

The Wooksta!

The Wooksta! snaffles another bargain on ebay shock!

This time, a genuine Frog Shackleton.  Cost? £10.51.  Result!

Nice one!  Guess those Griffons are going to get cloned?
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

The Wooksta!

I've more than enough Griffons.  They need some serious upgrade work and I'd want the rest of the nacelle too.  Which is why I'd look at the Sangar ones and cross them with the Grog fronts.

Airfix 1/350 Trafalgar Class from Monk Bar Models in York.  Thought I'd have a change in scenery.

You'll enjoy it a nice straight forward build

That's what I hoped!  I've never done a ship before, thought it would make a good introduction.

I don't do 1/35th armour but I do know what it costs, which is one reason why I don't do it, but also why I pounced on these when I was trawling ebay for my proposed Tank Girl build:

Tamiya M113A1 Fire Support Vehicle (the Aussie one with the Saladin turret)
SKIF T80UDK (command version with big radio aerial)
Academy IDF M60A1 with Blazer and twin .50cals over the gun
Academy M551 Sheridan with 'Nam mods

Total price? £17 including postage......  ;D

Adding up the price tickets on the boxes, that little lot cost over £70 retail.  I might keep the FSV, but the rest will probably end up being sold on as soon as I've established that I definately don't want anything from them.

Be very careful where that path leads Simon...Geoff managed to convince me to get one of those subs as well  I'm now pondering some more ships. If he sends you a copy of the Cyberhobby catalogue, DONT OPEN IT !!!  ;D ;D :banghead:
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

The Wooksta!

I've one ship (Graf Zeppelin), two subs (2 Type XXIs) and a liner (350th Titanic) which is as far as I'll go with boats.

However, I've still a hankering for the conversion bits to do the Olympic and Britannic from the Academy Titanic.  Would be nice to have all three Olympic class liners, although the Britannic would have to be finished in White Star colours as opposed to the HMHS markings it actually wore.

From Hobbysearch Japan, Aoshima 1/700 JMSDF DDH-181 Hyuga.

Looks a very nice kit, certainly matches the Pitroad version for detail and includes a full hanger deck area rathe than just the lifts from the Pitroad edition. Good service from Hobbysearch too
