1/72 Pioneer Spitfire VC
All in all a good day...

You were robbed on that one.  I bought the floatplane one - for the floats - and slung the rest.  It's a copy of the old Frog Va.  A horribly basic kit that's inferior to kits 40 years old!

Only got the Hurricane I - Modelzone didn't have a Revell IIc but some digging in the stash unearthed one.  Saves me a fiver!

It was part of a lot of 8 kits...I got a decent price on the lot so I figured it can go in the kitbash box.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Likewise, the floats are worth it

Actually, they're as basic as the rest of the kit!  If you can get the Eastern Express Spitfire Floatplane, the floatplane conversion bits are worth the asking price.  Much better moulding, better detail and a lot crisper.  The rest of the kit is still the nasty old Frog kit and hardly worth giving to the bin...

Although, having said that, I have a set of original Frog decals for it so may just build it as an exercise in old kits.

A bit late due to being laid up with a nasty stomach bug and the said consequences, but One of Colin's amazing EAP kits fron the Farnborough show last Saturday. I think I had the distinction of buying the first one at the show.
I also run into Mike Mcevoy as well. He's on the lookout for a V22 osprey so he can do an AEW version! If anyone can help him out let him know.

Not as much an increase in the stash - truth is what I buy now is to help REDUCE the stash - so to that end a small but perfectly formed box of bits arrived from Hannants today, just 36hours after ordering it !!

Two sets of True Details resin MB7 seats for a pair of Phantoms I plan on building next year, also a set of Aires replacement resin jet nozzles for one of them (an RF-4C). A Jordi Rubio turned aluminium barrel for my Italeri M24 Chaffee and a set of Two Bobs decals that will be used on my entry for the Test & Experimental GB, on this 'ere site.

Soooo, you going to paint that Rafale orange again?

From Narses: unboxed Hasegawa 1/72nd Grumman F9-F2 Panther. Immediate reason for buying it was to get Blue Angels decals that will fit the Lockheed Salmon I got from Colin at Freightdog, but I dare say I can find a use for a Panther.... Cheers Chris!

From Modelzone's sale: Trumpeter 1/72nd Su-15 Flagon-A
