Wanted to get an Italeri 1/35 M60 Blazer and a Dragon 1/700 Ark Royal from the LHS today, but these were already sold. At just 10 EUR a pop, they would've made nice additions to the stash. The Blazer was supposed to have donated the 105mm barrel with thermal sleeve to a Centurion whiff. And the Sea Things, Sea Dart and Exocets from the Ark Royal sprues were intended for the Hipper I acquired only recently.

So I just got an Italeri 1/72 AS-332 Super Puma for a fiver instead.

And on the way home I found a store that sells Mountain Dew!  At an outrageous price (1.5 EUR per litre - even gas is cheaper over 'ere! :o), but ya only live once, don't cha?
Cheers,
Moritz

Is it the normal Mountain Dew with the high fructose corn syrup, or the MD Throwback made with real sugar?

Too bad shipping is insanely horrible, else I'm fairly certain I could corner the market on MD exports  ;D

I mean, I hate the stuff I've had it so much growing up.
I exist to pi$$ others off!!!

From an LHS, the Tamiya 1/100th F-4EJ Phantom for a devastating £2.75. To possibly be chopped up to feed a mad idea  .  It's good quality but a bit odd, with no Sparrows but two Falcons on each inboard pylon.... It also had a scheme for the 306th Sqn which includes the stylised bird of prey marking that somebody (can't recall who, sorry) uses or used as an avatar on here.

I can't believe how cheap these re-released Tamiya 1/100ths are!

With real sugar. Is there a noticeable difference in taste? I only had Mountain Dew once before. In Tbilisi, Georgia (the one in the Caucasus), of all places. Don't remember their ingredients, though.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

by brothers just came to me with a brandless (looks like a cheap rippoff of Bronco) 1/48 A-10A Thunderbolt.
a friend of his bought this a few years back but never started it, he was gonna throw it away (shame on him.....), but my brother managed to convince him otherwise.

box pic:

i remember the bow well, they were sold in the LIDL supermarkets about 4 or 5 years ago for a very cheap price (5 euro) and im amazed, for a cheap kit she looks incredibly well detailed  ;D

usually i dont build 1/48, but it might make a nice Danish or SAAF machine for display  ;D
on second thought, i think it would be perfect in swedish markings with Splinter camo

-all kinds of things.

pyro-manic

Bash it into a 1:72 monster bomber or anti-shipping aircraft. 50mm gatling gun! ;D
