Minicraft/Hasegawa 1/72 A-4E/F, with Microscale Decals 72-114 A-4E, F and L Skyhawks.

From an LHS, the Tamiya 1/100th F-4EJ Phantom for a devastating £2.75. To possibly be chopped up to feed a mad idea  .  It's good quality but a bit odd, with no Sparrows but two Falcons on each inboard pylon.... It also had a scheme for the 306th Sqn which includes the stylised bird of prey marking that somebody (can't recall who, sorry) uses or used as an avatar on here.

The original F4EJ s were equipped with Falcons in JASDF service..............................yer couldnt make it up.

So that would be after the USAAF established in the early days of Phantom ops in Vietnam that the Falcon was a complete POS for dogfighting, right......?

Azur 1/72 IMAM Ro.37 (didn't know it comes with Uruguayan markings - hooray!!!)

.... and a Revell 1/72 Macchi MC.200. This is going to become a Curtiss P-34A Jackdaw - a reversal of the P-1 Hawk/O-1 Falcon relationship by taking an O-40 Raven observation plane and making a fighter out of it. The Raven looks quite like a Macchi from the side hence the idea.

Easily one of their best.... if you want, Paul, I've got a number of old Microscale sheets if you plan on building it R.W. - Let me know.
