Got four delivered from ebay today, all Revell, all sealed.
A 1/72nd Saab J-35 Draken (ex Hasegawa) a Convair Tradewind and two B-47's.
Draken prob real world, Tradewind may be RW but I might tweak it a bit around the cockpit and one B-47 was bought for the engine pods and the other was won accidentally so I'll prob just leave it sealed in the stash.

Edit:-Nice haul Greg, you've been busy!

Do you think he builds 1/48th ??  ;D

Made a trip to the LHS today, plus a stop at Hobby Lobby since it's their 30% off models week.

From the LHS:

1/72 Airfix Sea Harrier FRS.1

From Hobby Lobby:

1/144 Trumpeter SSN-21 Seawolf Attack Sub
1/48 Academy F-16A/C
1/100 Tamiya Mirage IIIC
1/72 Academy P-51B
5 x Box scale Revell pre-painted, snap-tite Star Wars ships-TIE Interceptor, Vader's TIE, ARC-170, RotS Jedi Starfighter

Most of the HL stuff was from their clearance rack...all 9 kits cost me under $50 total.

Also from HL, got some plastic storage drawers, a cutting matt with hobby knife set, sanding sticks, Sqn Green Putty, and CA and liquid styrene cement...most from clearance or on weekly special...some great deals!

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Of course he doesn't, he simply collects 1:48 loft insulation   - Got a trip booked to Transport Models in Preston with DtKS on Friday and just ordered a small parcel-ette from the BIG H (all for R.W. builds). Have to keep a tight grip on the wallet, tho'.... just bought a 1:1 scale car and Telford is getting a LOT closer !

the stearman is getting RAF markings ;D and the '88 is going back to airfix as the fuselage is warped beyond use.  :o

The whole kit is beyond use.  It barely approximates a Ju 88...  Save your pennies and get a Zvezda or Italeri one, preferably the former.  Failing that, the AMT one isn't too bad.  If you're really flush, the Hasegawa Ju 88 is the best one.

An excellent kit in both 1:72 & 1:48, one of those builds I've been promising m'self for a while - built a 1:48 one some years back and really should do another.

Excellent idea Trev, would look especially nice in the post war painted aluminium with broad yellow stripes and Type A roundels.

Post-War RAF Stearman is a nice idea.
Another is turning the rear seat backwards and creating a '30s light bomber, perhaps in South America? Bolivia??

They liked operating stuff with floats too....Columbia? Peru?

And I'm thinking of adapting one for a Biggles story or several....

actually i was gonna use some markings off of the modeldecal sheet that has hawker harts on it. they are mostly silver schemes and there are some interesting
4FTS markings....  ;D but thanks for the suggestion, I-H-G.

i now have a unwarped airfix Ju-88 but as its one of the kits i remember building in my teens, it's getting built, so there.
