most of these were being sold by a couple whose son had been a keen modeller but has sadly died. The size of the stash they were disposing of shows that he was a SERIOUS modeller.

And two smaller sets: Mig-23 1:48 by Italeri and a Paragon conversion set to OV-10 Bronco 1:48

eBay.... first for a l-o-n-g time: Tamiya 1:35 Austin 'Tilly' - could end-up in 'primer' with Lake Pipes, brushed chrome disc-hubs (think Bonneville racer) and a neat set of 'Moon Eyes' on the tailgate... and a small block Chevy engine.... or I could just build it OoB
