also, I thought to a p51 at 1/144 in UAV. responsible under the wings of the large p51 either on it. the UAV could be "recco" mission or mistel (reverse)
Great! so...
1- I clap my hands

Done at http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,4461.570.html (great for Twin-Mustang!)
but I am not sure I had understood your project: for P-51, is it one small under the fuselage or two small under the wings?

There are several solutions:
- 1 P51(mini) on the back of the fuselage (SR71 + drone)
- 1 p51 (mini) under the wing, 1 additionnal tank under the other wing (weight balance)
- p51 (mini) under each wing
- Another solution for the F82: P51 (mini) on the central wing

YYYYEEESSSSS
I have a f82 to the 1/144eme, should I find a P51 in 1/220 or 1/288eme...

 some candiate sources of P-51
Raiden Miniatures
http://www.raidenminiatures.co.uk/3.html
The items do vary depending on who moulded them, I have bought previously the
1/285  Horton Ho-229 Flying Wing
1/285  Arado E555-1
and
1/285  V1 Doodlebug  - These I was going to use 'underwing' on 1/144 aircraft as a "mini V1"  possible for ground attack.....

Also
Majic Miniatures
These guys do some interesting 1/285 + 1/600  '46 / pulp / UFO stuff
includes P-51/P-61 etc

I have bought some 1/600 Sangers.....
This is to go with a 1/144 He-177  as a Mistel (it could be a large bomb/missile) or Test Bed (flight testinga scale model of a Sanger, as inspired by the the Languedoc + 021/022 combos)

The He-177 paint scheme is actually inspired by prewar Luftwaffe patterns, asseen utilised on some JU-87 & Hs-123 in the Spanish Civil War (before the monotone scheme) as well as standard Ops in prewar Germany.

1-144 He-177 + 1-600 Sanger #1

1-144 He-177 + 1-600 Sanger #2  (yes, there is some prop droop on this, hadnt notice that before!)

Those colours look great on the Greif!

Is the Sänger powered? If so, changing the Greif's tail to an end-plate design might be advisable.  ;D Apart from looking cool, it'd save the rudder from being blasted off at launch.
Cheers,
Moritz

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

That is a good point that regarding the tail. If we stick to the "test bed" option it would be fine.....

As for if it it had "live" launches, then yes it does present problems. I am no aerodynamics expert, so I don't know if the sanger was released in flight with a delayed ignition would it allow for the Greif to peel left or right, or dive away?

A Do-217 was considered but looked a bit small under the Sanger...., The He-177 was chosen as a more credible option, ideally something like a Me-264 would have been the best option, but i currently only have one of those from Altaya/IXO and didn't fancy sacrificing at the moment as they are readily available in UK and therefore ebay prices have to be paid..... Now, of course, if there are any will volunteer donor's we could be onto something!

Glad you  like the He-177 Colours.

GTX

Love that 177/Sanger combo!

All hail the God of Frustration!!!

Green Dragon

Great models Oliv! Think my favourite is the Me464, though the He711, Breguet 810T and Polish Marauder are close seconds. Like the F18 in French colours too.

BD99 I think I've found the colours I want to do my Revell He177 in when I get round to it!
