Its not the workbench that makes the model, it is the modeler at the workbench.

Like the idea!

Funnily enough, I have a different early-jet-to-rocket-plane idea on the cards at the moment.....;)

A small suggestion, if it's not too late: why not put the tail fins on the back of the stub-booms, i.e. just forward of the rocket nozzles? Given how small they are, they'd be more effective there. You could also add vertical fins to the tip tanks.

If you noticed there are also vertical surfaces at the end of the canard. This will more than control yaw oscillation combine that with the spoilerons on each wing

Very dynamic, out of the box thinking.    it!
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

That's a pretty wicked idea you have there - looks rather wicked, looking forward to more of this liquid-driven rocket-monster.  I'm guessing it's a two-part liquid-fuel rocket that drives it.

Overkill? Nah, it's Insurance.  So are the 20" guns.

"Something Wild" is right.  This is totally crazy:  what's not to love about it.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

Great shape. Liking the look of this a lot.

Looks different, almost sci-fi.  Great stuff!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I had to run down into the Man Cave to search for something, the urge to pickup this project to work on was overwhelming so I gave the paint a quick rub down and drilled a couple of holes to accept the cannon barrels. This got me thinking and imagining this craft being used to chase down V-1 Buzz Bombs as well as intercepting German bomber formations as they approached key resources.

They could be dispersed anywhere, all they would need is a short straight section of roadway for launching and recovery. It scales out to be just about 24 feet wide and 21.5 feet long. Service support would be two refueling vehicles and a small support crew & pilot(s). Its four rocket motors could take it into the air in just a couple hundred feet or if launched from a portable catapult out of grove of trees. Zipping up to attack bombers or chase down Buzz Bombs.

When I saw the first photo, I thought I was looking at the nose.  Looked like something out of Star Wars, almost like an upgunned Naboo Fighter.  All that aside, I like this a lot.

Lovely paint job.  Although it's desert tones, it reminded me of the way water shimmers in a shallow tropical bay.  Maybe blues & greens for a future build?

That is some really incredible paintwork, Hawkeye!
