Its not the workbench that makes the model, it is the modeler at the workbench.

No but it has always been something I've always wanted to do, design and create models for movies and special effects.

I've always had fun creating aircraft What-Ifs like this Parasol Winged Mail Plane.

He might of while he was flying the mail in South America over the Andes. For a little fun he flew this.

The Vampire's looking great Hawkeye: the cammo's a sort of "RAF-jungle" that's both convincing and different.

As the Tony Williams articles I posted show, the "best aircraft gun" debate is never-ending, and has a transatlantic flavour. Americans tend to favour lots of .50 cals because they did a good job for them in practice, but on the other hand, the USAAF never had the unenviable task of trying to claw down fleets of tough four-engined bombers over it's homeland....

It's also worth noting that the US did produce a large number of Hispano 20mm cannons with the intention of fitting them to fighters, but they didn't work properly. So they had little choice in the matter.

I love this build, Hawkeye! Very interesting machine, and that camouflage is beautiful.

Hammerhead?

Lovely work, it's crazy!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I'd go with that name. A DeHavilland Hammerhead, or just DeHammerhead.

*LOVE* the little Andes hopper, too.

Some fine work there, Hawkeye!
My mind is like a compost heap: both "fertile" and "rotten"!
