I have received for my birthday a new model kit: Unicraft 1/72 resin Messerschmitt P.1079/1 (see http://www.unicraft.biz/germ/me1079/me1079.htm ). My project is to build it asymetric, with the jet lateral and not above...

Hello Olivier...
We have the same age, living in the same country, are you sure you are not building a P.1079/1 like me? Please check what you are working on ;D

Currently, I had a 1/72eme collection but a long time ago and had no P1079. now I made any 1/144.

(slowly) step2: putty is on.
I consider building it as forward swept, to increase the what-if side of it

Tophe,

You could have one wing swept forward and one aft, that would be REALLY weird..........  -_-
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

And a forward-swept canard on one side of the nose and a backwards swept tailplane on the other side of the tail.......

Sanding well advanced.
For the building end, I see 2^4 = 16 possibilities. Which one choosing? I consider the one below on the right, my favourite for balance:

And, swept/swept-back wing?. ;D

I agree that the right one does look nicely balanced. This is going to turn out well :)
