Here's the finished product:









The decals were from spares except for the penguins which were custom made for me by frank2056. Thanks a million, Frank! They went on perfectly!

I like your Antarctic airliner!

I will be in the Antarctic in less than a month. I will let you know if I find such airliners huddling against the cold and "convecting" in and out of the huddle to timeshare the warmth!
My mind is like a compost heap: both "fertile" and "rotten"!

I'm glad you enjoyed it, Fran. In the backstory, the A319 has retractable ski-wheel landing gear. I thought about gluing the skis from an Operation High Jump C-47 underneath the engines but then realized there was plenty of room for them inside the nacelles.

What fin did you use? It is neither the A319's nor the Constellation's...
