oh well, hope we see you at Huddersfield then Van :)
Unfortunately not-there is a big MG do on at Stoneleigh that day-which is partly why I was SO pi**ed off about today.

Cheers

Not too bad thanks - didn't sell any V bombers though - can't understand it!!
(As in Vulcan, Victor , Valkyrie... The ultimate V Force...)
But all three of us thoroughly enjoyed it thanks - will see what can be done about March.

A great way to start off the 2010 show season, even if our 'promotion' from last years position up in gods of the 3rd floor meant we were in Hall 2, which was almost in the next county! Even worse, after the build-up period we had to traipse all the way round the outside of the complex to get to the main hall, which is where the burgers and coffee were!

No matter, it was a good day, lots of good people to talk to, and lots of good models to see, some of which have appeared on here in the past, and seeing them in the plastic was just excellent. On a negative note I managed to crack the nosewheel of my 767-200DD (the one with 1 1/2 decks in Cathay Pacific markings) so tried to superglue it back on. After traipsing round to the main hall to buy some glue (yeah I know, ALWAYS take some with you...) I made about five attempts to glue it back on, gluing my fingers, thumbs, the display cover sheet and everything else, but NOT The wheel! It even glued itself to the floor after I dropped it as well!

Eventually it stayed glued well enough to put the 767 on the stand but when I unpacked the models this morning the wheel had vanished..........  :banghead:

Re pics of the event, I'm sure there will be some forthcoming as at least three of the SIG members were flashing away there, er......... taking photos I mean....
