USS Discovery NCC-1798

Here's my old Starcrafts 1/1400 Enterprise class Heavy Cruiser.  There were things about this model that just bugged me (lower sensor dome was too big, for one), but at the time, it was the only mid-range Enterprise class ship (had the monster 1/350 Polar Lights Enterprise, the 1/537 Etrl Enterprise, and the 1/2500 Ertl Enterprise), so I put up with it.  It's got JT Graphics custom decals.  I placed an order with him last year, but he cancelled it, and haven't had a chance to follow up with him.  I've got a 1/350 and 2 1/1000 resin Enterprises that need decals (as well as a 1/1000 Ascension class ship).

I base my Star Trek universe on the old FASA Star Trek RPG, so there's a bunch of Enterprise class ships flying around in the late 23rd century.  I just love this ship.  It's MY ship.

This model depicts the USS Discovery (NCC-1798) fresh out of refit from an old Constitution class heavy cruiser.  Since she was one of the last ships refit (and not a new build ship), it was decided to build her to the Mk III Mod C spec (Mk III Enterprise class, Command ship modification).  Her refit was complete in 2284.







I love these ships...

I need to take new pics of the Kitty Hawk (NCC-1754).  She's one of those ERTL Light and Sound Enterprises with custom decals and a custom paint job so it sorta looks like she's got her running flood lights on.
