OK, so now's the time to let y'all in on a little secret one-man GB I've been planning for the last year.

Near Earth Space!!!!

Space Shuttles, fighters, stations, and Single Stage To Orbit (SSTO) things!  I've got a TON of kits in the stash to expand on this concept.  For right now, I've got a bunch of shuttles and space fighters under construction, but I've got the stations to back them up (both military and civilian).

First up are some old standards, NASA's Enterprise class Space Shuttles.  First pic is of the Space Shuttle Constitution (built off a 1/144 Revell Space Shuttle):

Next are Yankee Clipper, Constitution, and Constellation:

Here's the US Space Command (Starcom) shuttle Republic (built off the Monorgram-Revell Armageddon Space Shuttle...  not all that accurate to the movie, but it works for a military shuttle):

Here's the Freedom class Starcom shuttles Republic and Kitty Hawk:

Orbiter comparison between the two most common shuttles:

Next up is the potential replacement for the Enterpirise class Shuttle, but it's a two-stage to orbit design and was deemed too expensive.  All shuttles are in Starcom use.  This is the Protector class shuttle Bulwark (it's a Stargazer models resin 1/144 Orion 2 kit as offered by the Starship Modeler store; the kit includes a nifty orbital nuke as shown in the movie 2001, as well as a one-man pod from the same movie):

Here's the Single Stage to Orbit Shuttle Reagan, first of the Reagan class shuttles.  It's built off a Monogram 1/288 Orient Express X-30 wannabe ship; I'm building it as a 1/144 thing):

Here's a 1/200 Aurora Orion III shuttle as shown in the movie 2001.  I'm scale-o-ramaing it to 1/144.  I haven't thought of a name for it or the class yet, but I wanted to show it and the 1/144 Orion II above next to one another:

Here's a 1/144 Lockheed Starclipper build up.  It's a kit from somewhere in Eastern Europer (forget where right now) but it goes together well.  It's offered in a full on drop-tank to orbit mode, but I just wanted the orbital vehicle.  This is the shuttle Dauntless:

Next is the Venture class shuttle, built off the X-33.  It's a 1/144 Anigrand X-33:

Next are some comparison pics of SSTO's with the X-33:

Here's a different sort of Soviet shuttle.  This is the OK.092 design as offered up by Anigrand in 1/144 scale.  I call it the Akula class shuttle:

Now comes the really goofy parts...  Space fighters!!!

Here's some US Space Command (Starcom) Space Fighters from the 20th and early 21st centuries (all 1/144 scale.  Resin are Anigrand, plastic are Zvezda, Revell, and Kitech):

Time for miscellaneous fun!

Here's a 1/72 Anigrand X-34 that'll become some sort of manned shuttle in 1/144:

Space fighter comparison time!  With the 1/72, nee 1/144, X-34A, an Enterprise class:

And finally, my long in production Starcom SF-23, based on an Italeri 1/72 YF-23.  The major mods include the OMS pods from a 1/72 Hasegawa Macross VT-1 Valkyrie:

For comparison's sake, here's an F-23 compared to the SF-23:

And a Hornet and SF-23 comparison for fun:

And that does it so far for this one man GB

That's quite an impressive space fleet you've got there Anthony! I really like the shot of the little space fighter inside the cargo bay of the space shuttle.

That's an INSANE amout of spacecraft!

AWESOME Come back between this, the CG build, and the Fleet!!

Good to see you putting those Testors F-23 kits to good use :^)

Figured I'd cut down on the load time for this thread (like my ship one).

Love these spacecraft, above all SF-23

Thanks!  Before I posted it here, it's showed up in a few "What's on your bench" threads, but never really garnered attention.  Rallymodeler saw it a few years ago in person, and said he had a similar idea.

As for the shuttles, for the sake of sanity (or lack there-of) I need to disclose I've got a whole space fleet in planning.  Have names for every one of the shuttles I have in the stash (translates to 21 shuttles), along with another military shuttle not built yet (the Shining City), along with a number of other shuttles shown above and some not (like a Starship Modeler store bought single man shuttle, and multiples of other ones (I've got another "Orient Express" snap-tite that'll be called Kennedy).

If anyone wants the full list, let me know.

This is nothing short of awesome!!!!!

I absolutley love this design. Very plausible and a very easy conversion to make.

Hope you don't mind but I am going to try and replicate that design myself.

Get this Cheese to sick bay!

Sure, go for it!  You'll probably finish yours before I finish mine

I'm giving the same treatment to my 1/144 versions too.
