Here's a little ditty that was inspired by Alvis 3.1 many works. I call it the Arctic Eagle. I started with a 1/144 Academy F-15. Before painting, I highlight the panel lines and then cleaned them up with some fine steel wool. More soon....

I was always curious about that method...what do you think? How does it look up close? Stunning Paint job

Right out of the gate, it's absolutely stunning!

Now that's one heck of a killer camo scheme, Eddie!

It didn't work out as well as I had hoped. It may have worked better if I would have stuck to the light dusting of white. If this was a "serious "build, I'd go back after and redo it, but this is going to be a very fast build.

Do to a flub up on my part, the photos were uploaded on a small setting. Here's how it looks in the normal size I post photos. As you can see, it's more of a science experiment than anything.

I made some wing mounted...mounts for the missiles as they are not provided for this particular model.

Outstanding camo!

Thank you! Of course, I can't leave well enough alone, so I added a couple exta colors. I also took a small piece of sandpaper to the paint and took some of the brightness off of it. It gave it more of a weathered look. I did retouch the black and dark gray because I like those colors.

Super camo pattern.  I really like this one.
