Hey folks, with school and other stuff my life has become pretty busy but today is the first day I have "off" and after looking forward to this GB for quite some time. I am starting my GB entry with this picture. It is snowing in New Mexico and I remember Mossie mentioning that he thought the sand and snow combo was fascinating so i thought i would get a pic. ( Hope rocks and dead grass, are desert-like enough!) I hope to work on my entry which is previously started from a couple years ago. (Interior put together, but nothing painted) I wanted to enter yet another Tomcat but the kit I will enter has been an orphan with no plan for sometime, so I came up with something I feel is pretty different  Hope you enjoy the ride!

Yeah, sand tones with white would look pretty good!  This was my take on it:

Although I get the feeling you're going for something completely different!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I like at already, simply because you used CCCP in the thread title.

Kamov Huey A very basic mock up. Life is going to be very busy for the next 6 weeks (class, work, class, work, repeat) but I wanted to put more up here. Have a scheme picked out and am hoping to find time here and there to get to that point  comments/ recommendations are appreciated of course.

Looking suitably Sovet.  I take it we're going to see contra-rotation?

Co-axial... I do have another Huey in the stash so inter-meshing might still happen at a later date

Looks not unlike a chunky Kamov Ka-18, I like it!

cool, i prefer inter meshing to a coax setup. Im a simple bloke and the controls for coaxial rotors just confuse me :)

Like the look of this one.  Good luck with everything on your schedule; hope you get time to progress this further.

Unfortunately I lost the forward hinged cabin doors for this so I had to cut 1/48 blackhawk doors and add styrene armor to fill the gap. Painted the interior with a base of baby blue this afternoon hopefully more pics and progress soon. Thanks for the support and understanding (where does the Time go?!?)
