I'm in the middle of a project and i have a small snag.

Does anyone know how and where the demarcation line for the paint went on a high winged twin engined royal navy Aircraft and how it went on the engines ?

It's not high-winged, but I found this.

There don't seem to have been a lot of twin-engined FAA aircraft to begin with.

Can't get much higher wing than a Catalina but think they were all RAF.

Pics I find show everything from full fuselage camo to the waterline to complete white fuselage.

Depends what period you are looking at ? If post war then the demarcation would be very high, probably with only the upper surfaces (plan view) of the aircraft including the nacelles in the darker colour. With a high wing the wing surface would probably be the bottom line of the dark colour. The Sea Hornet below gives an idea although it's not high wing as such.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

A Shorts Sturgeon is probably the closest you'd get to real high-wing FAA aircraft. Can't find a really decent pic (most of them were painted as target tugs) but this pic of an ASW one supports the high-demarcation-line idea:

Fairey Barracuda is the only high wing aircraft I can think of off the top of my head, although single engine.  I think the demarcation line is at the 3/4 mark, rather than being level with any of the flying surfaces.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

That Sturgeon pic shows what I think it would be. I could only find target tugs and natural metal ones  :banghead:
