So, who wants Andy Murray to win, for British pride?  And who thinks he's a whinging scottish git?

Ooops!  Sorry Ian ;)

You may have been overtaken by events Nev........  -_-

Perhaps he was stung by a SCORPION which spoilt his performance?

[How's that for getting back on thread then?  -_-]
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Work goes on apace. Got the fuselage halves together this morning, and brought both this puppy and my Rafale into work with me this evening to work some more on the both. My Homeez on the Watch are cool with it, they just treat me like some weird old uncle that sits in the corner for a couple of hours and sticks his pudgy old fingers together.

Depending upon how much I get done this evening, I'll post some progress pics tomorrow..... or not

See, I told you I'd be adding piccies !!

Cockpit is all decals, not too bad, eh ?

Yikes !! - looks like I'm going to have to put some serious time in with the filler on this one.

Here's a size comparison with the Rafale. B I G innit ?

Thanks for looking

Nice one Ian!

Don't know why exactly, but I love that "marbled" silver plastic some old kits are made from....

hmm, good so far ian.

It'd be neat to see someone keep the "natural" plastic (as a stand in for NMF) and just weather it a little as the final finish.

Looking good, Ian! Those cockpit decals work very well!

With more and more plastic planes taking to the skies, perhaps one day we might not have to paint the models ;D

Bring back Matchbox multicoloulred sprues!

Looking good so far Ian, never realised the F-89 was such a big bird.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

No dissent from me - I love the "Heavy Metal Aeroplane" era: all bare metal and hot oil......

I find the F-89 oddly attractive for some reason, I built this one a few years ago

It's a Hobbycraft kit of the F-89A/B and after I finished this one I bought one of all the other versions Hobbycraft make.  I think the Revell kit you are building Ian, is a re-box of the Hobbycraft kit ('course I could be wrong)
