Whilst waiting for the paint to dry on the Privateer, I started this one.

Its taken from some three views in the Gloster Javelin Book by Richard Franks

all of which are dated around 1952-53 so if Glosters got a move on it might have made production by 1957 say
which would allow me to finish it in PRU Blue with Med. sea grey/light slate grey Camoflage
The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

Wow, another one that's made me sit up & take notice!  Looks great so far!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Well I guess that means my germ of an idea for a Javelin whif becomes a Mk 11!

Looking good.  Interesting conversion.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

I do like that, yes sireee.

I see the nose is from an RF-84F but where do the wing extensions come from please?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Looks like an A-6 to me.

This looks brilliant, as does the Privateer.

Yeah! I like the look of this too, maybe the tailplane needs to be proportionally bigger ??

Nah ! I think I would have some tip extentions similar to the wing in profile  ;D

As Jaybee said the wings used to belong to an unknown (but cheap)  Grumman Prowler, whose fuselage helped make the Privateers MAD stinger and the nose is from the Italeri RF-84 thunderflash.
Fin and Tailplane Mods are under consideration ;D

Neat-O!!  Maybe in a U. S. Navy 1960's grey over white?  Or SEA  Camo?  Or maybe BMF!

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?
