The 3 standouts for me are the Sea Otter, Vilderbest and Bombay  ;D

I just knew that those three would get your attention Chris.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

A Sunderland V?

I've just spent about 3 months gathering information and bits and pieces to convert an Airfix III to a V!  :banghead:

Back to the drawing board I guess, 'cos if I build it people will just assume it's the Special Hobby kit <sigh>
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Special Hobby SH72196 Fairey Fulmar Mk.II "Civilian Service" 72 12/2009  - "civilian service" ?????

Perhaps N1854, the first production Fulmar I which was retained by Fairey and later modified to Mk. II standard?
Post-war N1854 received the civil registration G-AIBE and was used by Fairey as a two-passenger communication aircraft.
N1854 is the aircraft in the FAA Museum at Yeovilton.

Yup, thats the one. Should be out about nowish...it's in the Feb magazines

It is also Wonderfest 2010  (Winter)  this weekend in Tokyo too!

One of the Japanese suppliers linked to Hasegawa/Platz was complaining on his blog over the overlap between that and Euro show and having to cut short Europe to get back in time for Tokyo!!   - must be a tough life!? ;D

The Trumpeter Su-24 looks nice but I hope that the sprue's for the Airfix Lynx is better than that sub's........

Interesting...1/350 CVE Casablanca from Hasegawa, but at what price????

And is it me, or did every man and his dog have an F-35 coming out?

And Dragon are doing the Independence CVL in 1/350th, be nice to see a RN WW2 carrier in 1/350th.

As for the Lightning II i sure hope they do a better effort than Italeri who appear to have tweaked their already ropey X-35 to portray an F-35B.
