HI!

Just finished the "A" frame:

It need to be filled, sanded, to add details, cables, etc. Btw, it wasn't easy :-)

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Hohooo!

Just a little improving, played with the road wheels (the dragon ones from the kit), and the drive sprockets (Friulmodel).
And added a holder for the cranes frame to the turret and on the back, but I didn't satisfied with the result, so I'll make an other one...
So:
Rise and .... roll ? :D

Huzzah! I may have to dig out and re-start work on my dust inspired stuff now - although I think I'll go up to 1/48 or 1/35 scale, the 1/76 wasa  bit too fiddly.
There are no good kits, bad kits or grail kits, just kitbash fodder.

  I guess that is what separates the masters from we mere mortals - not being satisfied with what is considered awesome in my world

Thanx :)
Btw, started the roping:
These "ropes" are just temporary, will change to a better one, silk or something witch looks more cable-like...
The wheel and the sides of the cables drum came from an old Sd.Kfz. 151 kit...

Hi!

Had a little time for modelling, it's really hard, have to work a lot :S
Btw, almost finished the to dozer blade. The front one 's been inspired by the MDK2 Digger Vehicle (T54 based military land mover) the back one is the same as on the bergepanther, just cut to part down, it disturbed the cranes frame when it's lowered..

And a vid on the hydraulic of the front blade:

Once again, I find myself awestruck.  The craftsmanship on display here is incredible.

Not even a Scooby-Doo'ism (Patent applied for) would cover this much work. Incredible attention to detail - It's like Barry has now started building AFV's and changed his name, Hmmmmm !!

HI All!

In the last times, I had no time for modelling, even for the forums to read or reply... But yesterday We had a great club day*:)
*From yesterday 1200, till 10 in the morning today :-p
And my model improved a lot, Now I can see how the crane will work :)
Only have to change this temporary ropes, and add a few details like a few more winch (at the hook**)(**still have to make an other hook, that came from the Italeri Bergapanther kit)...
I've changed the rear holder for the cranes frame, and added a few details on it, and on the back of the hull.
So, there's a lot of work to do not just on the crane, but on the turret interior (everything is missing still from the inside, just two winch has been placed with a few cogs...) all the welding on the hull and turret, and even on the dozer blades, etc etc etc...
