....it's time to tidy the workbench"

Confuscious (maybe)

Mossie

Mossie, staggering in with case of cheap beer, walking into foot stool, glaring at it like it's it's fault, then sitting down heavilly in chair.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Steven, this is a real knockout in the making!   Incredible paint work.

Revell's F-15E kit (I think) is best kit revell makes. I too was surprised just how fast it came together. Most of the joints and seams don't need much work to clean up. My biggest seam I had to clean up was where the outer wings met the main wing. Even that, all I did to fix it was filled it with super glue and rescribed a few lines. The kit seems to fall together. I would suggest this kit anyone. Even though have to finish this first, I already got plans for my next one.

That Greek Eagle looks fantastic.

That Japanese F-15E is all fine and dandy, but didn't you want to build a Japanese F-105G first?  I believe you said something in that direction in the whif thread over on ARC quite some time ago.
Cheers,
Moritz

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Thanks Moritz
About the Japanese F-105G.... I know, I know. I got buried out on my IAF A-10I and do not want to start another long term build now. I still want to build it but when I do I will rescribe the whole model and right not I just don't feel like doing that now. Plus the F-15E is a much easier build. I just have to finish this one first.

Would look mighty fine alongside your colourful JASDF TSR-2 ;)

I still don't know which one I want to build. Got another 12 or so more profiles to do!

Well, this week I got the main part of the paint work done. There was a lot of little areas that needed to touched up. It did not help that the light sea gray was so thin I could not use any tape to mask it off. So I painted the whole top camo pattern then shot a coat of future to seal it. Let it dry for a day, now I could use tape to mask for the bottom. Once painted, I gave the bottom a coat of future to protect the paint for scratches and fingerprints. I want to get her on her legs soon and start up on all the little details.
