cant wait to see the unveiling (or should that be unpeeling? ;D ) and see how it turns out

I also add myself to the list of people interested in seeing the result.
I've done my job but I have no idea how it will come out!

I'm seeing a Ferris Scheme...

OK, even if it's still got the zit, I am suddenly a HUGE fan of this build.

Update....
:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: THE CAMO IS COME OUT A SHAME!!!! >:( >:( >:(

look at the disaster:

Diagnosis: A: Too much stripes - B: The stripes are too closer one to the other. -
Solution: I will remove all...

I'm not sure that is a "disaster".  It is very original and unique. Very interesting.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

At the my eyes it's a disaster because I do not see a way to save/convert that scheme.
Before of to sand away all the work done, I will try to spray over the upper surfaces of the kit a misted hand of light sand to tone down the scheme.

D-Angle

I think it could still work, maybe a very thin coat of grey might knock it back a little?

You can fix that. Re mask with little square dots (yes I know it will be a pain in the arse) respray, remask, respray etc. You'll get a digital. In fact I am going to use this "mistake" on something. ;D

The treatment suggested from you is still take in consideration by me but not for this project...
I plan to use the your suggestion to save a my old project stopped from a year and more, the A-7 Corsair with two engines:

In the A-7 the digital camo was not as I want so the solution is to add new littlle spots.

I was tempted of to remove all the paint applied in the last week and to restart from zero but yesterday changed idea.
In the attempt of to save the situation today applied several hands of Floquil Tan Special:

This is the result:

definate improvement on the Phantom.  The previous painjob resembled some 50's wallpaper
The Leng Plateau is lovely this time of year

Atlantis

Now it looks like it's made of wood, which is actually really awesome. .

Excellent project - you'd glance at it in a model show and take it for a Phantom, then the "hang on a minute!" moment would come....

I think the problem with the original cammo is that the lines on the fuselage are vertical rather than horizontal, so they work against the lines of the aircraft instead of with it.

This afternoon after two months of stop taken the final decision: to remove the stipes camo.
The last hand of light sand have only made all worst.
There were so much layers of paints on the model at the point that the details on the wings was totally levelled.

Taken a bottle of GUNZE MR.Paint remover, a set of brushed, two hours of work and all is gone.
