These two models, an A-7 and F/A-18E were gifts from Sotoolslinger sometime ago. I had started a bash with them, but it didn't go anywhere and they have languished since then. Today, I got the inspiration to move forward. I can't claim any originality on this one because I think I've seen something similar before. Here's the beginning of the Super Sair. ;D

Oh that's promising: I'll be watching this one (possibly with an eye to nicking it in 1/72nd for Patchwork World... ;))

Interesting combination, Eddie.  Looking forward to seeing how this develops.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

I almost wish you had kept the fuselage strakes on the forward section of the F-18 fuselage section.  Looking interesting so far.  Never imagined a kit bash between the two aircraft types would work but I think you are showing that it can be done.

I'll be adding them later. I didn't want to let the whole cat out of the bag. ;D

You're making me blush....I did surprise myself in putting this together in about 3 hours, though not intentionally. When motivation comes calling, I answer...

I couldn't have done it without you and your generosity my friend!

I did a little surgery to the wing so that it would look a bit more in proportion to the fuselage.
