MOOSE was designed for re-entry from orbit, the heat-shield and foam cradle were tested
and proven viable. Of course I personally wouldn't volunteer for the manned test. ;)

just last night I saw the last movie again on TV , where 3 Federation crew members parachute onto the Romulan device that is about to destroy the Vulcan planet . It is only a stunt .

Ah ok, I understand now.
I have not seen it.

The fact is that Heinlen's description in the novel Starshiptroopers have never been seen in any movie,
nor well describe in pictures
(as long as I know)

I talk about something a bit faithfull...

I was wishing to filll the gap...
