For a British ship, how about this?

Bottom half of hull (below "waterline"): Navy Blue

Upper half of hull and upperworks: Cream, or other off-white colour like Linen or Sailcloth

Funnels and cheatline on hull above blue/white demarcation line: dark red/maroon

Turret roofs: Union Jacks in Navy, Cream and Maroon as above.

An interesting scheme....might trial it on a estroyer first.

Is an "estroyer" an internet-capable warship then?

Doc Yo

There are some nice SteamPunkish flying battleships in the Aeronef line.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Now if you really wanted to anger the most JMNs in one fell swoop (aircraft JMNs, ship JMNs, and Real Space JMNs), then I would suggest real world schemes for fighter/bomber used throughout history:
Between the wars scheme: Green hull with bright yellow wings
WWII RAF schemes
Israeli Desert Camo (current)
Raspberry Ripple
FLANKER paint schemes

Somewhere, somehow, some JMN is going to get incensed! ;D

I'm certainly thinking of putting some USAAF markings on a silver, heavily weathered (of course!!) USS Missouri spaceship...probably a "Bluenose" 354th Fighter Wing from the 8th AF P-51Ds??

Wouldn't Bomber units be better for Battleships, Fighter Bomber for Cruisers and Fighter for Destroyers ? Or am I being to logical  :banghead:

Hardware stores/DIY places are useful outlets of bits and bobs. I bought some inexpensive thin "joints" from Wilkos for Central Heating purposes...copper....some straight and some with a 90 degree bend...useful for airship exhausts.
