Makes we wonder how a simpler version - just the normal OV-10 with a Cobra cockpit grafted onto the center fuselage - would look like? Hmmmm...

Pretty cool I'd say ! And the moveable gun and seeing eye would be helpful for the gunner.

How about adding the gunners cockpit section forward from the Cobra to the back of the Bronco's pod as a sort of turret for strafing overflown targets, or rear defence etc...

Y'know, that's not a silly idea... I have a spare M'box HueyCobra and a spare Airfix Bronco... hmmm

Go go go...   I have to check the pile, too. I know that I have three OV-10Ds in the stash (one Academy, to be converted into the NOGS prototype with donations from the Airfix kit, and a Hasegawa kit), and the most crappy thing about the Airfix kit is actually the cockpit with the inserted glazing. And I think I have an Italeri AH-1 somewhere... ideal combo.  ;)

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

That looks great, are you going to build one?

Yes.  It's solved my long term "what to do with the (1/72 Tamiya) Skyray dilemma".
I'm not sure about the stripes on the nose.  I may put them on the tail or tanks.
I'll use Trumpeter Wyvern decals and may well be starting this next.

Skyray always looks right in FAA colours

I've often thought "Aeronvale" when I looked at mine
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

On my similarly delta-winged Convair-Hawker Osprey from the same period I put them around the fuselage, above and below the wings. You can just see the remnants of them forward of the lower fin in the pic.

Another wild find (from Norway, it seems), together with more whiffy stuff:

That... thing looks like it's going at mach 2 just sitting on a garden bench  <_<
Cool find!

And another, subtle one - Kit will certainly like it!

You're not kidding!  ;D

I'm surprised they didn't try that for real.
