Captain Canada

I've always wanted to go to Phillip Island myself.....one of these days ! But only if they're still racing the MotoGP there.

I really want to go to Dismaland.  Wonder if he'll franchise it?
Phillip Island in the winter would be the perfect place for it.

in general Banksy has quite some inspiration for unexpected mixes, a kind of image-bashing which could inspire some kit-bashing (which is actually 3D collage, after all)

yeah, like the Vigilante F2!
But shouldn't it have been GR2?

Wonderful!

An RAF Vigi ticks almost all the boxes for me. (The wings could be longer maybe........)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

It's an interceptor, with belly mounted Skyflashes, so F2 should be right.

Must admit the Vigilante is one of the few jets I do like as it has very attractive lines IMHO. Looks like a fast aeroplane should look like to me
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Captain Canada

Agreed. It is one of those aeroplanes that just looks right. Looks even better with that nose and camo !

Stumbled across this Whirlwind/Meteor hybrid:

1943 appears a bit early to me, but could be an alternatiev to the post-war Wyvern? Melikes.

Captain Canada

Both nice. That model is very well done. The Nighthawk looks great, but is it a prop or a jet ? Or both ! Looks like it has spinners.

An early turbo-prop?

The exhausts look just the same as the Derwents from an NF11, as does the canopy.
