I remeber an IPMS chapter from somewhere had their own little newsletter which I subscribed to in the late '80s. Don't recall the exact details but one issue had a MiG-51 (?) Flashfire, based on the F-19. I built one and it used MiG-23 landing gear and canopy and I think cut-down MiG-25 vertcal tails and squared-off wingtips and canards.

Cool. I think I have one in the stash, it's somat I have always wanted to scale-o-rama into a large bomber.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT THIS IS .

It's so amazingly strange, that I see it as a piece of art.

And obviously has some background story  too. ;)

That thing just boggles the mind. Equally odd is the mechanical arm on top of the... WHAT?!?!

zenrat

It's a pig-pony - a pigony.

I think this person is influenced by Kris Kuksi.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I, for one, am flabbergasted.

Kris Kuksi is indeed probably a reference : his work is quite baroque.
His church tanks from the beginning were at the same time very simple and very striking,
and the origin of kitbashed kits remainded a bit visible (Faller churches IIRC?).
I feel like doing something like that sometime ; maybe adding wings. (long ones.)

Dizzyfugu

Way cool. Proves that kit building can be a true artform. Personally, I ilke the cloudy red candy paint finish a lot.

Pointless, sweet and excellent.

DogfighterZen

:o That is really weird... But that paint job is excellent!!

dumaniac

yes - weird but a lovely paint job

Captain Canada

It's bizarre, and so is the horse thing, but very well done and certainly interesting !

Have you seen that under the belly of the machine (in the glass tube) there is another animal? I found a bigger picture of it :o :o :

And even more creatures and...things :

They all remind me of some surrealistic pictures I have seen before.

Stumbled upon these (and other) nice Swifts:

In the blog there's also this Valiant B.2 with potential to be found:

Captain Canada

It's a kitty in a tube ! Quite the army of animals in the other pic !

Love the USAF Valiant. Wow that looks good.
