My rough guesstimate is that you're about right, Jschmus, but I haven't worked out yet what makes this thing go once it gets airborne!

That's easy.  It's held aloft solely by the crew's suspension of disbelief, though it occasionally suffers from a loss when viewed from the surface, as when a crowd of people go "I don't f***ing believe it!"

Found this collection of USN Patrol Bombers while surfing the net.  Notice the B-29 and P-61 in USN markings?!

Some 1/144 whiffing goodness! Check out the man's blog >>HERE<<. He's a 1/144 god!

Bartini Beriev VVA-14M1P by Anigrand:
May not be a 100& whiff, but has enough "Wow!"- and "Exotic!"-factor to warrant a mention! More of that >>HERE<<.

Some, er, Japanese manga-inspired Su-37! More of this one >>HERE<<.

BAC TSR.2  More of this one >>HERE<<.

EDIT: Took out the links as the blog doesn't support hotlinking.  :banghead: Oh well. I even provided numerous links to the original blog, so it's not like I was trying to steal someone's thunder.
Cheers,

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Sorry for that!
Grrrr, I hate it when that happens.  :banghead: You type up a post, include the links, preview it, everything works as advertised and you post. Only to return later to find the links have gone blazes.  :banghead: Sneaky frackin' code writers!  :banghead:

Try the links to the blog. As proditor said, some of the stuff is well worthing. Especially considering it's in 1/144!
Cheers,
Moritz

Fumi does great work and has been very busy since I last checked the blog (SEA Camo B70 was the last one I saw). Really like the Bartini.

To save these pics you right click on "properties" then copy the pic's url, paste in the box & press "return".
Or you can save the page as a "webpage complete" HTML (not single file MHT) then just move the pics from the associated folder to your picture store.

And one day we'll fix those moronic software geeks !!
you may as well all give up -- the truth is much stranger than fiction.
