This special Arrow is somewhat cool...

The covered air intakes look a little odd, but the idea and execution is great. Check the B-52 carrier in Canadian markings, too!

An Arrow Shuttle, LOVE it!

Upside-down, of course! It saves wear & tear on the undercarriage!

Another creative find...

I recognise the workmanship there, Stephane used to be on here until the Great Divide.

How odd: I was looking at an old pic of Stéphane's that I saved ages ago just before I logged on and came here.

Rufe floats are so tempting, I have seen them adapted, at leat in profiles, to quite a few airframes.
Only second to the cheap PM Spitfire floatplane, I guess  ;) that have been fit all over the place.

They look good, all the same! the FW190 is one of those I haven't floatplanized (yet)

On his page, the other version seems to be using the Amodel floats for the Bf109W

That one looks better, though, with the enlarged fin. Gotta Rufe somewhere in the basement, too...

Who does a Rufe these days?

Mine came from the dual Jo-han kit, which you could build as a landplane or floatplane but not both, but they're as rare as hen's teeth these days.

The 'Big Book' says for the Rufe in 1/72 scale:

Arba ( a Brit company in resin and was available up to 2000 when the Big Book was published)
Frog (reboxed by Congost [or Revell/Spain], Kikoler [or Revell/Brazil], Revell)
Hasegawa
JoHan
K&K (Russian Vac-form)

That's a neat looking bird. I like the float arrangement.
