Oddly enough, Jedi Master Frodo looks an awful lot like Harry Potter.

I did not create this one, but I couldn't resist sharing.

That rather reminds me of Queen Victoria's shot at Bisley waaaaaay back when. She apparently scored a bull or an inner at 1000 yards but I'd wager there were numerous 'sighting shots' carried out by expert marksmen beforehand, and with the rifle mounted on the same tripod!  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I take it that is something you have heard/read about PR_Kit and not actualy remember happening at the time

Have to remember HRH was in the Forces at the end of WWII of course  Not sure if women did weapons training then or not ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

answer is no -- she drove ambulances.  But she was already a good shot if aiming at deer on the home estate.
you may as well all give up -- the truth is much stranger than fiction.

What happens on the range, stays on the range?

I wonder what calibre were the pencils of the day?

Hehehe, I know where you're coming from there!  ;D

The rifle Queen Victoria used was a Whitworth 0.45 so it would need to have been a pretty big pencil!  ;D

I dug into this event and it didn't take place at Bisley, it was at Wimbledon Common in 1860, and QV gave a £250 prize for the winner of the Championhips that year, thus starting the 'Queen's Prize' tradition still carried on to this day. The reports say she fired '....the first shot....' but as it was a bull and was fired from a weighted tripod of immense proportions I'll bet it was only the OFFICIAL 'First Shot'.  ;)
