Well, the Stuka was paid for with Oerlikon guns.

QuoteJHM : that's easy to do.  Take her image, do it as a transparent layer and paste it over the picture in the desired way.  Distort as needed to allow for curves on the fuselage.  Then add the real her.
Easy to describe, you mean!
Quite another to actually pull it off, young Earthwalker.

BTW: Did you ever get your SAR helo done?  Any new pics?

I recently reformatted my PC so have been somewhat out of touch for awhile.

My wife can relate to that, she says I was born out of touch with the world.   :dum:

Well, I don't know from Photoshop but I sure have a desire to paste over her image, if you know what I mean. ;)

Tell you what, if I could draw like that I wouldn't piss about making plastic Spitfires!

Ollie

Oh yes!

I wish I could draw like that too!

QuoteAnd the Fw is a German Federal Republic aircraft!  Gna!! :P  :P

Which reminds me of a question I've been meaning to ask for a while:  How realistic are those markings on her?  True to life or artistic license?

Good one indeed Nev!

All the official ones, i.e. the crosses and the numbers are original, they are the one she wore when we got her and simply duplicated her.  The camo is totally bogus, we wanted something neat, hence the Fw 190 scheme!  Like I said, save for the eagle, all the markings are correct, down to the stenciling!

The Stuka 'attacking ' the fire engine is pretty good. BUT, how come in pic1 it's coming in from the left, and in pic2 it's coming in from the right AND much lower, yet it is the same pic???? Was there 2 Stukas per chance, OR  was this a bit of a balls up??

Errr Ollie, Oerlikon's are actually Swedish.......

Actually, I tried two shots with the Stuka, hence the two images.  I couldn't decide on which one I liked best, hence the duo.

That's what I mean.  Those Swiss had their nose everywhere.  Who else could have pulled such a deal?

Tophe

QuoteYes Tophe, it's C-FWOL alright.  Cute, ain't she?
Thinkink about it... Is C-FWOL meaning Canadian Focke Wulf of OLivier ? Nice name... I imagine such a S-TBTO : Sky Twin Boom of TOphe... :)  Should I go in Spain or Switzerland to register ? (this is a joke  :) , I am not a pilot :( )...

Yes Tophe, we chose those letters because it meant what you just said, but in fact they mean : Charlie Foxtrot Whiskey Oscar Lima.

Nev, here is how they look in Luftwaffe service.

And this is how she looked when we got her!!  Very sad Focke-Wulf!

Dear Ollie, you seem to have so much talent in improving aesthetics, maybe you should contact Michael Jackson... Soon billionaire, Ollie. :) And no sadness anymore.

Oh yes, it was fading away full fumes ahead!

And now the P-3, although always hangered, is starting to fade too...   :(

Tophe, you need to tell that to the guy who painted the aicraft!  I only came up with the design...   ;)
