New update, new pictures.  Most of these are still work in progress, but wanted to show some stuff.

First - my Sons of Angarak.  I've built myself a Brotherhood Champion model, I couldn't help but put one of the armored heads from the Venerable Dreadnought box to use, and wanted it on an armor suit with a raised collar.  I also picked up the Forgeworld Mk4 Grey Knight dread, and arms for firesupport - I thought it would look nice with the arms traditionally reversed - normally the lascannons are on the right and missile on the left, so I did this to be different.

Now to my War Hounds - couple of new dreadnoughts - a Venerable and a converted Assault on Black Reach dread with some parts from the Venerable Dread box.

And the final offering - a little bit of terrain - seven objective markers, conveniently guised as Tiberium.  Made from sprue, and a little putty, on the square bases I'll never use anyways.

As always, commentary welcome.

Totally thought "tiberium!" when I saw it!

In light of the Tiberium stuff, if we are to completely forget about who gets what in the 40K universe, I can almost imagine the Forgottesn coming up with something to the effect of STC vehicles......

Like when a Predator or Sheppard tank runs into a Forgotten Leman Russ......  ;D
To the individual soldiers, *everything* is a frontal assault!

OK, some new stuff to add.  I did this as a test of a colour scheme for a Dark Eldar army - irony being I had this Guardian spare to my force.  The main colour in the force will be Basalt Grey, hit with Green Wash.  I wanted to do an orange combo with it, and here it is - I have two oranges in my hand - VMC Orange Brown (darker) and VMC Bright Orange.  Not sure which one I'll use, or maybe do both just for some further variation.  The Right Kneepad is brass, I wanted to check that against the colours as well.

Feedback deeply desired - it's only going to tabletop quality, I'm not OCD enough to do masterpaint.

Some very nice stuff there Simon,I have been looking at some of the air raft and vehicles that you can get to compliment these, and I am very tempted indeed, I may even get some figures to go with them.
Cheers,

Birthday present to myself, I bought my Imperial Guard their first superheavy.  I got it painted up, and so here, for enjoyment, is The Overlord Tank (aka a Macharius Vanquisher)

I love the look of these things
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Looking good!  I'm a big fan of the Macharius line.  At some point I need to finish my scratch built malcador.

Hi there Sauragnmon!  First, let me say that your 40K stuff is awesome!!

Now, I've found some folk online who do super quality resin add-ons for GW figures, worth a browse, as they are really cheap, and great quality (I got some bits to see what they are like)

Jester, I've seen a lot of the guys who do extra stuff for 40K in their own styles... I've actually gotten items from a number of them.  I've got some weapons and equipment from Anvil for a few projects, as well as other sources like Maxmini, Puppetswar, and probably the biggest contributor, Blood and Skulls Industry, who did a piece of commission work for me in the form of a Jagdpanther/Jagdtiger inspired version of a Shadowsword a little bit back.  I'll have to add some more recent pics to the thread for you chaps.

I thought you may have heard of them, but I figured! I should check...

In any case, they have some cool new stuff out, including full single figure sets, and a automatic rifle with attached NUCLEAR rocket launcher!!!!!!!!! :o :o :o
