Really pleased to see this all coming together, Steve, said it before, but make no excuse for saying it again: A pair of builds that have really inspired me. Watching these two has made me determined to do better and betterer with my builds.

Ian,
Your wonderful comments inspired me to keep the build going and makes me ask myself "What else can I do?"

Thanks for the inspiration!

Oh, brilliant!  That's just what we mere mortals need: two masters of the trade pushing each other to even greater spheres of awesomeness!

Applying all those stencils on the Japanese Eagle may be tedious, but it definitely makes the plane come alive!
Cheers,

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Thanks Moritz

You really are way too kind, I would never consider m'self any sort of "master". As for pushing Steve, and Steve pushing me, there's absolutely nothing wrong with some friendly and constructive 'rivalry' - helps you get things done (better ?), and that ain't a bad thing !

I'm sort of reluctant to go on holiday, because I just dont want to miss these two getting finished...... I'll catch-up when I get back, I know, but it isn't the same as 'being there' is it

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

That he is.

Anyway, the J-bird truly looks the part with the addition of the Hinomarus

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
