Now that 23-01 lends it6self to all sorts of things.....

I'd be inclined to eliminate the lift engines and tailplanes, fit it with a Mirage III wing and a different fin, and claim it as a Fairey FD.II development...

Your not wrong there, I am very tempted by one of those.I think it looks vaguely French already, in a Dassault sort of way, Hmm could end up with French weapons loaded on it and Honduras roundels.

Another kit tailor-made for whiffing by ART Model:

Ye-8/2 in 1/72!

HERE'S a pic of a built-up kit and HERE'S a pic of the plastic parts.

Just needs a pair each of AA-7s and AA-2s and a suitable camouflage scheme.
Cheers,
Moritz

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Ohh i can think of quite a few members who will be rather chuffed by that news

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

The Wooksta!

Even I could be tempted with that one.  Indian, I think.

West German - after the fall of the Wall, obviously.

TBH, ANY MiG 21 user would be ideal.

Or MiG-23.  I think it was originally intended to have that designation & be the MiG-21 replacement that the Flogger became.

Other thoughts, chisel nose for a "MiG-27", two seater.  Chinese license build which opens up other possibilites, Pakistan, Bangladesh, North Korea etc.
