Here's another odd Luft '46 project I did a few years ago. From Fliegerhorst this is the 1/48 resin Bv-215 Nachtjäger

She is a very heavy kit with a solid caste resin body and metal struts. The Hanomag tractor is a resin & metal kit from Airfield Accessories.

Superb!!   That camo on the Bv-215 looks good.  Well done model & diorama.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

Wot, no ultra-cliché wood-plank hardstand??   ;D  ;D

Great work on the models, especially the figures; I've tried 1/35th figures, and mine aren't nearly as good as your 1/48th crew there.

Very nice ! It is a very big aeroplane, and the side by side seating is pretty neat. I'm also digging the tug, what a powerful looking machine it is ! Great job all around.

Actually that is a THREE seater. Two in front side by side and one behind them facing aft.

Great model Swanny, always wanted a P.215.  Looks like the poor bugger in the back doesn't get an ejection seat!

;D Yeah, guess where the ranking officers sit? Notice we have the pilot in the left seat, radar operator in the right and gunner in the rear.
