A Czech company specialising in resin kits and conversions in 1/72 and 1/48.   RVHP models do some unusual subjects such as Learjets,

Fairchild Metro III (various versions)

Embraer R-99A

Beechcraft 200s, 350s, etc.

Beriev Be-12 Chaika

And many others.

Wow, it's £58 on Hannants! :o  With the Hase kit that it's slated for at £35, that's a total of ninety three quid....

Hope there's a lot of resin in there!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

simon!

RVHP have been pricey for years and years, even though they do have some interesting subjects.

i don't have any of their items in the stash, mostly down to the cost.

That they are Trev.  They seem to have hiked up though, I was looking at a King Air last year & could have sworn it was around thirty quid, aircraft of that size are going for around fifty quid now.  I've seen a MM preview on their C-12D which was marked as $50 four years ago, so maybe it was longer, but they're still very pricey.

Looking at a Hyperscale preview of the King Air, the kit looks lovely, although I wouldn't say there's fifty quids worth of resin in there?

when hannants london used to be next door to colindale tube, i declined
a 2nd hand RVHP TA-7P resin fuselage at iirc £26 unopened. given that since
hobbyboss have done a TA-7C and A-7K injected and i've been able to find
several of the maintrack conversions for the two seat corsairs there wasn't
much point.

about the only thing of theirs i do want is the RAF king air, maybe one day.

The only RVHP kits I have are the Gruman Guardian's...Hunter and killer versions. Very expensive and very heavy but nice kits

For some strange reason it's in Resin Conversions rather than Resin Kits.

There's several RVHP kits I would like - JSDF types naturally.  Especially the U-4 (Gulfstream G.IV), but the price is a bit off-putting.

For those who make the annual pilgrimmage to Prague, are they any cheaper there?

Depends really. If your own currency compares well to the Czech Koruny then it would seem good to you.

However, they cost an arm and a leg here too if you're actually earning the Koruny.

I've seen folks from out of the country come to the annual model show we have here in Brno and walk away with boxes of resin that I don't bother wasting my time dreaming about and they probably wouldn't either if they had to buy it in their homelands with their own currency.

I've looked into RVHP boxes at the show and, while some of it is nice stuff, I can't say it's worth the price tags I see on the boxes. Not to me anyway.

Not really looked at RVHP Nev, but most resin was about a 1/3rd cheaper last year. Like Upnorth I'm not sure they are value for money, but horses for courses and they do make things others don't. Always seemed a little heavy to me especially compared to CMK etc

That Be-12 "Mail". I could use a couple. Gekko made some pretty cool whif profiles for 'em.

I've got a couple of the King Airs, the RAF one and the Canadian Coast Guard one.  Plus a number of the conversions they do.  All were on the expensive side.

This conversion below isn't 'toooo' bad, the u/c was all wrong (corrected with some True Detail wheels and scratch built legs) and the struts were about 1/8" too short all around (luckily had some Contrail biplane strut material handy)

You do know the JMSDF actually looked into buying Be-12s instead of developing the Shin Meiwa? :D

^ Nah, didn't know that!  :o Most interesting indeed.

Funny you should mention the Shin Maywa, though, as I thought about that aircraft in a Japanese whif context just the other day.
