Hey Guys, Being Inspired by somethings i've seen Here, What If there were a Fire Fighting Helijet in Thunderbirds? i was thinking Something based on a CH-46 or CH-47 would be great to work With. What Say You? Thanks for Looking. Dan

I thought there WAS a fire fighitng helijet in Thunderbirds... maybe it was Captain Scarlett... maybe it was just another Helijet...
I think that various soviet designs would be great fun to helijetize since GA never had access to them. The Kamov KA-29 Helix in particular has that sort of "my father was a truck" which seems ideal...

Just whack four big jets on it and it'd be right!
There are no good kits, bad kits or grail kits, just kitbash fodder.

I think tandem-rotor types are ideal for converting to four big tilting fans on stub wings, because the rear wing and fans can be mounted on top of the tall rear rotor pylon so they're not "eating the exhaust" of the front ones in forward flight.
