The crowd at Squadron today seemed smaller than usual but it was nice to see some familiar faces. Scoot got there around 9 or so and sallied on in not long after. Nobody stole any of Scoot's kits this year, but there was still fun to be had:



We rounded this one corner and found this big 1/72 kit of the An-22. So the jokes ensued:

They served up a free deli lunch between 1100am and 100pm and that's when Rotorhead rolled in and poor guy had to endure about 45 minutes of our crass jokes (it went beyond that big Cock) while he repeatedly tried to ditch Scoot and myself.

Those of you who see Scoot tomorrow at the show, be sure to ask him if he used his Gold Bond powder before coming to the show.

As is my usual modus at the Open House, books for the ol' aviation library were the order of the day. Not as many good titles as last year's Open House, though, but did well. Picked up several new Warpaint titles, some Ginter books, along with others. Really wanted the DACO books, but the price was too much for the size and content of the books, personally.
