Yak 6 Light Bomber

This is the other plane I started while waiting ont he Super-Poli's paint.  A Yak 6 Light Bomber.

The kit is made by Intech as a test of modeler devotion to the hobby.  On the one hand, it's a really cool subject that I haven't seen flying out of Tamigawa any time recently.  On the other hand...

Well, here's the cockpit OOB



Yeah...

That wasn't going to cut it, so I made a floor, a bulkhead, seat risers, and I even threw in a door for yucks and giggles.  Just simple styrene, but it actually look like a cockpit now imho, even if it is sparse.



Where am I going with it?  Considering an engine swap and some serious work on gunner positions.  The goal is to turn it into an ad hoc bomber for the Spanish Civil War GB.
