Hello everyone...sorry I've been a bit quiet lately but as an apologie, thought you might like to see something I've been working on...

Sorry that some of the pictures are a bit on the ropey side but I was doing it in a hurry...hope you like?

:D

It's a big, wide world out there...so if it's all the same to you I'll just stay indoors!

Forgot to mention that it's actually a Trumpeter 1/48 J-10S with additional Paveways (Revell Typhoon II) and home-made laser designator pod thingy. Python III's are straight from the kit...which is just yummy by the way...

Sweeeet!

Looks enough like a Lavi for my purposes.

Well, to be honest Mr. E, if I would have stayed away from here as long as you have, I would have, at least, made some sort of rffort upon my return.

S'pose this will have to do in the mean-time.

Apology accepted!  :o This is great! I had been thinking of doing the same thing myself! The kit actually came with the Pythons?   Excellent paint work, How did you do the exhaust exactly?

Yeah, I know, I've been a bit lax haven't I? Sorry About that Ian old chap...I'll do better next time...:D

Jet pipe is Alclad in various shades...good stuff that...and the kit has just MASSES of various air-to-air weaponry in it and yes, they are Chinese copies of everything but it looks just like the Python as far as I can see.

Amazing build! Had Taiidantomcat not nominated this for a WhiffieTM, I'd have.

The paint job is just excellent.  And the canopy. Wow!  Sparkly, shiny, perfectly translucent.
Cheers,

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Excellent Zeke,  only problem is I have to think of something else to do with my single seater coz it'll look crap compared to yours!

Really nice build, great job on the heat stress around the burner can - I always have a hard time with that stuff.

Zeke

Thanks for the kind comments gentlemen...much appreciated...:D

Actually the kit is very easy to build but it's rather boring in it's PLAAF colours (grey on grey) and as the real thing was built with the help of the Iraeli's it just had to be the Lavi re-incarnated.
It was made for my mate Dai (bless him) but he hasn't seen it yet so I hope he likes it?

BEAUTIFUL!!!  Excellent finish on this one.  It could easily pass as a Lavi unless someone was a real expert.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

Superb finish and an excellent idea - well done!
